The GR-3 Alpha Refining Struct, marketed as the "Greybox" by it’s manufacturers, is the sister-Struct to the LS-0 Extractor.

Following extraction, raw Alpha Ore is transferred to the Greybox for processing. Refinement poses numerous potential hazards, and GR-3 Refineries are designed to isolate the process from external factors such as planetary conditions or, in extreme cases, incoming fire from raiders.

Unfortunately, the volatile nature of Alpha Ore and the complex, delicate refinement process prevent the HS-1 from housing any defensive weaponry. Early clients of the Structs Conglomerate learned quickly that such facilities are easily breached in the absence of other defensive Structs.
