Although the advanced technology incorporated into such weapons allows them to more reliably target enemy forces, they remain vulnerable to electronic countermeasures.
Electronic Countermeasures, the blanket term for defensive equipment packages designed to defeat the electronic systems of such armaments, are now common. Colloquially called “Signal Jamming,” these packages use a variety of techniques to prematurely detonate or otherwise disable “Smart” weapons.
