Information about the culture of the Structs Conglomerate is limited, and what information is available is hotly debated. Due to the disparate nature of the Conglomerate—composed of many factions will little apparent centralized leadership—communication with the Structs species has been conducted primarily through individual factions, and has resulted in a myriad of conflicting reports from the few delegations permitted to set foot on Conglomerate worlds.

Some describe contact with a uniform and highly organized society, recounting assembly-line precision and little extraneous activity—individual intelligences working in concert as if governed by a unifying will. Others report chaotic urban sprawls populated by machines radically diverse in form and function.

These reports, uniform only in that they contradict each other, appear to describe a species itself nearly as diverse as the various races Alpha Star Council, with some pundits suggesting that perhaps Structs are not truly one species, but a melting pot of synthetic lifeforms of many different origins.
